Freshly rebuilt s5 turbo engine
ok guys so i just got done rebuilding and turboing my engine, it has tii AFM, TPS, and MAP sensor. i have an rtek 2.1 and bnr stage 1. Anyways the engine starts fine and has a really solid smooth idle at about 900rpm. I have 550 primarys and 720 secondaries.
But when i give it a little gas in neutral it chokes out right around 3k, so i tried to adjust my tps into spec and the resistance was at 3.5k ohms at idle so i start backing the adjust screw down and the lowest i can get the ohms to drop on my multimeter are 2.8k ohms.. im assuming my tps is shot i just really want to make sure before i drop 300 dollars on a new one. i was testing the tps with B/R and the G/R wires. is there anything else that could be messing up my tps thanks in advance
alex

Rtek 2.1 has a Percentage reading capabilityfor the TPS.
you can see what % the TPS is at a given Rpm.
Can you see any variation there?
My thinking is that it may show you a dead spot.
Posted that for this Reason: I had a s4 TII swap..never ran right, hook up the Rtek and get the % of TPS..it showed 100% at idle, and 0% at WOT..
Reason,wired the TPS incorrectly..
Fixed..TWO years later!(it had me baffled.)

ok so i went out and logged some tps and rpm info, i couldnt find the percentage value but i did find the line graph style, i just logged some light revs, the rpm line graph moved up and down accordingly but the tps was flat lined the whole time, is there a fuse for it or anything? or is it just broken.

i tried checking the voltage of the G/R wire with a DMM, i have zero volts, i think its supposed to be 1vdc at idle..could this be caused by a bad tps? or should i check the voltage at the ecu, i believe its pin 2f. maybe a bad connection between ecu and tps..
