OK im almost ready to start rebuilding my beast but have a few questions.
if i take the housings out of a s5/s6 the irons out of a s5 and the rotors and
counterweight out of a s4 t2 would i have a STRONG BEAST of a motor? will all this work together? obviously i dont mean mismatched housings.

im just curious because from what i have read the irons become stronger as the series went on i would use s6 irons but then ill have to buy adapters. im not trying to do that

has any one ever use titanium tension rods from rotary works?
or should i just get a stud kit from mazdatrix or something?

Yes you can mix and match, whether or not its a beast depends on your tune. Also you will want to figure out what intake you want to use, that will probably depend on your irons choice.

Do not sandblast anything on the inside of the engine.

FYI, by motor is S4 n/a housings, rotors and counterweights with S5 TII irons and intake. So mixing and matching is no big deal. (I have personally seen a motor with S3 - S6 parts)

There is no difference between any S4 and S5 eshaft, FD eshafts are slightly different but can be used no problem in FC blocks.

If you want a bullet proof motor, stay N/A, or get a great tune.
