Big Brakes

lexus ls430 big brakes

saw this pic of a fc in japan, obiously he just put a mazdaspeed decal on em, but check it out.. i have no idea whats involved in if they bolt right up, obiously you need to rock a different rotor.

heres the site, now i do not know japanese, but from the UCF30 in his text, thats a lexus ls430 http://minkara.carview.co.jp/userid/...659/parts.aspx

i did a google search to confirm they are ls430 brakes

translate.google.com can
but then theres no detail / how to / where to locate ****
kinda useless

edit: looking at this again, THIS :
https://www.rx7club.com/suspension-wheels-tires-brakes-20/mandeville-style-4-wheel-big-brakes-fc-feedback-needed-739122/
to me still seems like a better idea then all those trial and error, we can use rx-7 pads too

hmm that looks pretty good too, i see tho it seems like work having to rebuild the caliper like that, but this ls430 setup needs work as well. These bigger calipers look more bling/aftermarket

Looks like the Lexus calipers are radial mount.
The stock FC is axial mount.

Try running the page through Google langauge tools or Babel fish?

At a minimum you'll need to fabricate a mount to let the radial mount caliper bolt up to the axial mount suspension upright.

If you want a more bolt on kit, look at the EVO brake swap, much more bolt in, although you do have to machine each and every rotor you ever use.

here is a rough translation

he bought used Celsior calipers and overhauled them.
the he cancelled the P-valve
then he used a Brake master cyl from a Mazda Sentia (forgot what it is called in the states)
then he used Tom's performance brake pads.

Since Respeed makes "big" brake conversions for the 1st gens and older rotary cars; MAYBE we can convice them to make one for the FD.

CRAP, at this point, I would even be happy with a FD disc conversion adapter\spacer
