well i was thinking about going v-mount but i heard its more expensive. and by the tight squeeze do you mean that my tubing might be pushing up against my front bumper?
just get a set of the old school greddy pipes and intercooler.....theres some for sale on the for sale forum
my motor came with the pipes and i bought a godspeed knock off of the old greddy intercooler....the horns and p/s cooler can stay in their original spots
and you can keep the p/s and a/c because both pipes stay on turbo side of the motor
heres a picture of what i'm talkin about

I'm not really sure if going v-mount is more exspensive or not. I'm not sure if you can use the stock radiator or if you have to change it do to size ( that pic is of a buddy of mines car, not mine ). I think the " tight squeeze " means getting between the PS and the strut tower. My FMIC piping goes under the PS but I removed my AC.

here is my setup. I had to notch the shock tower and welded in a piece of 3.5 inch pipe. Intercooler is an ebay special with 2.5 inch ebay tubing. It was funny because the top intercooler fastening bolts lined up with factory mazda holes in the core support area. I also welded angle iron to replace the old bumper. so it is semi safe. Yup rims are 14 inch 4 lug phone dials, with my old miata tires. Zero traction can be fun sometimes, Plus it keeps my factory se trans, driveshaft, rear and axles happy, for now.

Its very simple to do.
The current Greddy kit can be made to fit around the PS pump, and there's all kinds of ways to go in between the pump/compressor, the pump and shock tower etc. You're only limited by you imagination if your building it yourself.
Short answer is its been done, very frequently, and with great success.

ABCDEfb bought his piping already made to fit for the a/c and p/s. Here's a link to a thread of his...

So the question is, did anything really change?
I know that in Japan the HKS kit has a different part number then ours and I found THAT kit available at RHD Japan.com.

And a guy who claims to have THAT kit:

The size also doesn't correspond with HKS USA (vs HKS Japan).
So my question is, is that kit really discontinued? I really want to find out, but shelling out $1300 to be wrong could suck
.Thanks,
Christopher
