I like the theory about not cutting anything, but that just won't work. Are cars weren't meant for a fmic so you will need to cut a little bit.

But he did on both sides where the piping comes through. On the passenger side its not too much, and the drivers side you can't see the hole.

You know I was wondering.. there's room right between the radiator and the chassis, what if you took pipe and did one of these..

No, there is a hole cut on each side and the bumper supports are slightly modded.

and that isn't my car, I never took pictures when I did mine, but that is another 88 vert and I actually used his pictures for cutting and laying out mine when I put mine in.

Actaully pretty easy from the back, but it helps that I have a SST oil filter wrench for the Mazda filters

I see one problem with the squished pipe that was meantioned above. How do you plan on sticking the unflattened section through your hole.

two screws on the clamps and a screw on the cross brace and the driver's side ICpipe lifts up out of the way to get to the plugs on mine.

I guess I gotta take some pictures of mine now since I got a new digital camera for xmas

Its the Greddy FMIC made for the FC with the stock turbo (there is one with larger/differnet piping for an aftermarket turbo), so most likley so.

Yeah, stock turbo... it's their kit for the S5 slightly modded.

but my project this summer after I finish this book I am doing is to rip it all out and go with water/air intercooler. I'll put it up for sale then.

You unbolt the radiator when you install it and just move it out of the way a little bit. Much easier than changing your entire car.

Can even put some insulation inbetween the piping and the radiator.

So who else thinks this might work?
