firing problems

OK guys heres the thing. I just bought an 88 rx-7 non turbo. car sat for 2 years. at first it had a starting problem which turned out that i needed a new battery. well now that it starts evrytime i have like no power at all. Ive changed the spark plugs. the fuel filter. and reset the timing. Well now the engines second rotor has like no compression. Theres spark and everything. just no cumbustion. i tried putting oil into the spark plug port then running it didnt do much. any info at all will help thanks.

Engine oil won't unstick stuck apex seals. You have to add a couple of drops of ATF through the spark plug port of the second rotor and hand-crank it a couple of times. Put the plug back in and let it sit overnight: try to start normally in the morning. ~rich
