CP racing makes those specific ones, my opinion is they look terrible. On the fc3s.org/speed machine performance FC (one pictured above) they look alright, but the pics I've seen of them on a more stock-ish FC they look horrible.

Remember a lot of those flush mount lights (as you call them) are illegal in the US, as the headlights sit too low.

Yep- you can get ticketed if you **** the cop off.

Any lights not listed DOT on them are illegal for use on the roads in the United States... I don't get why people don't understand this

in some places the cops don't care, they don't have any clue as to the laws that are actually enforced in california

as for the cp-racing lights dont buy them if you have to go thru cp-racing it took mine 3 months to get mine and i was very very lucky because i had my lawyer call them. I heard of some pplz having to wait 7 months for them and know of one guy that order his about 6 months and cant even get a hold of cp racing.

as for looks they look decent. as for law yes they are illegal. if you want flush lights get Rotary Extremes fc2000 bumper that comes with hella 90mm low and high beam moduals that are actually dot aproved. Its an awesome front bumper and it has nearly perfect fitment. I had one and took 1 week to get mine.

If you can make your own thats best and cheapest way. but if you do you have to get HELLA 90mm lights because its the only lights out there that i know of that are dot for low beams. The rest are just fog lights.

Ill have pictures of my custom flush light kit i made.

Generally laws like that are overlooked in California, but there are idiot kids that do those kinds of modifications then drive like Initial D or Fast and Furious race drivers on city streets becoming a general hazard (most with sub 5 years of driving experience) that make the the general population scream at the cops to look for any excuse to stop these road hazards from driving.

And personally I think you are a <edited for flaming> for thinking it is a California only thing. Get a ******* clue.

Little to no mods?! You only have to look at an FC and a Z32 to know that's a ridiculous claim.

Well that sucks about the RE light setup being illegal. I love those kits and wanted to eventually run one..but i guess I'll have to go with something else since one of the bigger reasons of wanting those kits were because of the lights. So as long as the lights are DOT cert. everything is cool aye? Anyone know if the East Bear light are DOT cert.? Or anything other then pop-up is DOT ok?

well...first off... 300zx lights are about 4" wider than an fc's, and like 2" shorter...so the hood will have to be completely modified, not to mention the front bumber, and possibly the fenders..... heres a few pics of 300zx lights on an fc, and those ugly cp racing light, and what i think is the best looking flush mount kit available (re amemiyas fc2000 kit)
