I have a pair of those lights i was going to cut up and use for the lights on my body kit. Just for the heck of it I put them in the housing for the flush mount kit that I have just to get an idea of size and I think they sat in there just fine. Of course they were way too tall but as far as width goes they might fit. Problem is the slope on the outer lenses is downward and would look wierd in the pop-up config. You can do as I do and just jigsaw the lights out of them and then use it to install and you will be all set.

Pics as requested. My car looks like *** and is dirty but you get the idea. I have a customer recieving his set soon and I will have pics from his car--

Yeah, I'm all for your lights there DL. The only thing that's tempting me is the fact that my roommates are currently filling our basement with wax injectors, vacuum casters, and one is even looking into buying an injection molding machine to cast miniatures, props, juggling equipment, etc. I'd be using the Corksport Type 1 or 2 (I forget which I liked) bumper. The one cut out down to the FTP lights. I would probably only do this with a reverse vent hood (atihun style most likely), but with the headlight cover area covered by the hood. I would then tuck some projectors into the space between where the hood covers (where the stock headlight covers end) and the bottom of the space in the bumper (bottom of stock FTP light hole). I have some interesting ideas for the lexan cover, but that can be worked out later as all the equipment isn't even here yet.

I been tempted to try and adapt the kit my GF has on her Miata, it's from Jackson Racing and works really well.

I was also looking at CP racings setup for flushmount lights but they are not street legal and anything I put on the FC has to be legal, they're a bit strict around here on things like lights.

Not a big fan of those. I like retractables, it's what makes the RX-7 unique.

I'm liking that dual round thing look. I was thinking of trying to adapt something myself, but im a crappy electrician. There was a member of the forum that made his own and even "adjusted" his headlight arms so they'd raise less. They looked sooo good.

Everyone has thier own taste. I personally wanted to offer something that weighed so many pounds less than the stock peices and came in CF and lexan and required no cutting or permanent modification and can be had for less than $600 for the next best thing.

Those light on the Miata ARE retractable, she has it set to do the sleepy eye thing sincer those lights ar half the height of stock. They're jus a set of Hella lamps but the mounting bracket is the main thing that I need to figure out.

If it were my car I would, but since I wanna continue getting laid I guess I won't.
Worst of all she'd notice if the beams weren't lined up properly afterwards.
