Thanks for all the complements.

To Snub Disphenoid, it took them a good month and a half to get them out to me. Although it me riding them on a daily basis for weeks before they finally shipped out. In all honesty i would personally never buy anything from them again, their customer service is not bad, but it is far from good. Also, the quality of the kit is ok. I had to do quite a few modifications to get it to work properly:

1) i had to modify the brackets a-la oval the holes to get the lights to line up to the body correctly.
2) After adjusting the position of the lights there was a gap between the light beams and the housing. So i temporarily had to used some high temp black RTV between the two to prevent moisture from getting into the housing. It has worked well but, i am looking for a better alternative.
3) In order to mount the front of the lights to the bumper i had to completlely remove the bracket from the lights and drill a hole and then fasten it with an allen head stud, some washers and bolts that i got from home depot.

All in all I give the experience a 5 out of 10. For the price of the kit, if you have the know-how, or the resources, you could do it a whole lot cheaper. My advice to all, buy at your own risk.

more updates to come...

I think it saved about 10-15 pounds from the front of the car. not alot, but for a weight saver every bit counts.
I definitely will paint the inside and vent of the housing. Can someone do a photoshop with the lights, hood, and moulding painted the same color as the car. I will try a ghetto version with microsoft paint when i get off work.

Once you get them paint that will look great, the red/black combo only works with the black s4 trim IMO. Looks great though good job.

first of all carbonfiber is nasty looking on anything other than black vehicles, i prefer the s4 trim over s5, with the exeption of the front bumper. I like the actual trim shape better, and since its black it'd go with that light set-up better. Oh yeah i didn't hack the roof off i bought it like that, jackass

Yeah, that does look a lot better. The benefits of the kit are you get to take out your entire pop-up mechanism and replace the heavy stock headlights (have you ever picked one up?) with fiberglass buckets. You also remove the entire motor assembly so you save even more weight there. I think the reason they designed the headlights like that I think is so that they could have those little air scoops above the headlights, but that photoshop does look much more aesthetically pleasing.

If you paid the regular price of around $2,000USD for the *original*, I don't think you'd be complaining about the price.

I think it is over priced mainly because of the quality of craftsmanship. Between the gap between the projector lamps, and the poor fitment (without modification), i think in retrospect i could have probably put a similar kit together for a 100 or so dollars less. The hardest part would have been finding someone to make the fiberglass for the headlight bucket. i would have found an alternative method for mounting, probably more similar to what Dltreezan has put together.
