Thanks. Those are from cpracing.ca they were 550 shipped. I think it is a bit overpriced but overall i am very happy with the result. Next step is paint and finish 13b-re swap.

i really only like them with the FC2000 front bumper, they just don't look right on a stock looking 7 IMO.

what you think is what matters though.

Not bad, how hard was it to cut out the bumper to make them fit?

And hey what base are you at?

(Edit for sig violation...Check your PMs)

i dont really like them. i still prefer pop-ups to flush mounts, but i think there are better looking flush mount kits out there then yours. sorry to say that.

while i do like how they go right down into the FTPS pockets that said i think they are just too tall and long, it just doesn't look proportionally correct. if they were a lower profile i would probably have a different comment on them and if they were painted to match the car and the hood was also painted to match i think it would look great.

Cutting the bumper out wasn't too hard. Had to be very carefull and meticulous to ensure the lines were straight. having all the right tools make it a cinch.

By the way 95nracer, I am at hurlburt. Judging from you avatar, you must be at Mcguire. I just PCS'ed from there a couple months ago. Your car looks familiar, did you used to have s5 turbo wheels on it?

It is funny you say that. When i paint the car i will be painting the vent cutouts above the lights the same color as the car, as well as the hood so it wont have the long droopy effect anymore

but the headlight surrounds will still be black unless you take the plexi lenses off and paint the black portions too, it is just too contrasting, all the black on red is too much and focuses on the headlights, if they matched in color it would be a much more smooth transition and the gaps also i feel are too large but the only way to cure that would be to mould them into the fenders and bumper and that wouldn't be an easy job to do correctly in this situation.

painting the air ducts and hood alone would help a bit though.

Actually i never thought about painting the surrounds that might actually look pretty good! Thanks, i will try that while i'm in the painting stages. Also, about molding them i was playing around with the idea of molding them into the bumper by using a plastic bracket epoxyed to the light bucket on one side, and the bumper on the other and the then filled in with a fiberglass or body filler and sanded smooth. Will keep you posted.

I like it. It would look pretty good with a nice kit. I'm looking forward to seeing some pics of your car when you get the whole thing done.

Yeah its me, I'm still here at Mcguire. I'm suprised to find you on here. Glad your car is coming together. Do your swap that you've been talking about?

Those aren't exactly my taste. I think they ruin the lines of the FC, but you have a very clean FC though. Keep at it.

Just as long as you like them, that is all that matters. I like the Mazdaspeed Front lip though.

How long did it take yours to get to you? I ordered my set in mid-March and they're still not here.

i think with the entire car being one color, including the light surrounds, it would look much cleaner.

edit: fixed my crappy spelling.

Are they DOT approved?
In VA you wouldn't be able to pass inspection if they're not.

I like them and I may be getting them soon. They look alot better since CP redesigned them so there aren't any rivets showing. How much weight do you think it saved?
