Flooding Sucks

After doing the ATF trick, I went out of town a few days later, letting my baby sit for a week. The first time I tried to start her after that, flooded. You could smell the gas form ten feet away. Now, when ever I try and start her up, she sputters and fights, but will kick over fine if I rev her slightly. Time for an injector rebuild????

What year is it? If it is a series 5, then you can hold down the gas pedal (floor it) while cranking the engine for a few seconds. Then, let off the gas, and keep cranking and it should start right up. Flooring the gas pedal shuts off the fuel pump, so what you are actually doing is burning up any excess fuel without injecting more in until you let off the gas pedal. Good luck.
