Flooding problems

I parked my 88 RX7 non turbo for about 3 months because the distributor housing cracked. Finally a few weeks ago after I finally replaced the part, the thing on the intake in between the actuators, it had 4 wires coming out of it. 2 of them were smoking in the part in the middle. I unplugged it, and now my car is flooded to the point where it is easier to push start it. Can someone tell me what is wrong?
