Flooding ????

Hey all i am having a queer problem with my FC. After a hard and or long drive, after i park it and let it sit for awhile, when i try to start it again it seems flooded and pulling the EGI( i think) fuse is the only way i can get it started again. Does anyone have any idea of what could cause this. If im normal on the throttle it is fine and will start right back up TIA

-Chris

Your injectors are probably leaking down.

I am just wondering? Is this a common problem with a 89+ car cause it doesn't flood but I KNOW I am running rich and wondering if I should get my injectors remapped and how much would it be?

Its common to most FC and FD models that the fuel filter was not changed at least every 30k miles or the gas available in the area is sub-par.

re-mapping is not generally needed. injector cleaning is

also try letting it idle for like ten or fifteen seconds before shutting it down after a hard run that might help, but you should have your injectors cleaned and change the fuel filter flooding is generaly not a problem for n/a models is it n/a or turbo? if it's a turbo you realy should be letting it runn down at least 30-sec. any way in any driving condition.
