my car has a few problems. It runs at 1500 to 1000 at idel for some reason, it likes to flood, and I think it is running sluggish(I do not know what a stock 87' rx-7 is supposed to feel like). What are some things that could make this happen? It runs well. I just t hink it should run better.

the idle hunting is probably TPS, i used to have it on my car. adjusted TPS--> problem solved
try a search and you should find a link to pages explaining it

flooding- could be leaky injectors which is common, or low compression. my car used to flood then i rebuilt the motor--> no more flooding, but who knows, the injectors probably still leak

being sluggish-there are many causes for that. any more details?
