I want to do this mod too, I have already read the post on http://aaroncake.net/RX-7/lights.htm, its said tapping the red/white wire on the harness, the only thing i am not sure about is which harness, i took the dash out, i have two harness plug on my right (right hand drive rx7), they are the turn signal one and headlight switch one (bigger plug), they both have red/white wire on them, which plug do i tap the wire to ????

And now your car can't be driven safely or legally at night. That's clever...

Suprisingly, the headlight wires on on the headlight switch harness, not the turn signal harness.

DRL wiring mod: 55W lights, FTP function still works, costs a few dollars.

J-spec marker lights: 5W lights, FTP function unusable, costs $183.

Not a hard choice...
