Make sure you prime the oil system. Disconnect the connector to the fuel pump and CAS. Crank the engine over till you get an oil pressure reading. This may take around 15 secs so don't do it all at once to save the starter. After that, connect every thing back and prime the fuel system. This will allow you to check for leaks well before you start the engine. Once that is done, it should fire right up unless you have really weak compression or faulty timing. What was your side seal to corner seal clearance? Make sure it's .002-.006. Mine were all at .002-.003. That clearence will make the most difference in how well your engine builds compression over the course of it's new life.

i used the same side seals motor had about 40,000 miles when i blew the apex seal. I checked the height and side clearance before reusing them and compared them too atkins specs.

Also prime the fuel pump to test for fuel leaks. You jumper a connector in th engien bay (sorry, can't remember right now) and put it to "on" if I remember right.

Don't get upset if it doesn't work right away. Many times there are kinds that need to be worked out, some big and some small.

fired it up today sounds great, little hard starting but good, got bout 50 psi oil pressure at 1500 rpms. However if the rpms are a little over 1500 to 2000, it bounces up and down. I double checked for a vacumm leak found nothing. What can be some other causes. Thanks bros
