First thing I'd do, get a K&N drop in filter, and change EVERY fluid. That way you get to know what you're dealing with, and also it's just manditory maintenance. Hey Cloead, how'd you ever talk Zack down to $3800? After I went up to see the car, I offered $3000 and he said he wasn't going to lower it past $4000.

full tune up, plugs, wires, fluids, air filter. then id say full exhaust if you have the money. FMIC and turbo stuff next. All this could have been found using search.

Well, tell your friend congrats for getting the car. Now

1. change every fluid, install new spark plugs, check thermostat, check wheel bearings, tires, tirepressure, exhaust (rust?) body (rust?)

Lights, all work? Tell your buddy to check EVERYTHING! before he starts to modify/change a single bolt on that car

Once all that is done and everything checks out ok, proceed

Get a nice conical filter to mount aft the AFM, than add a nice Downpipe/exhaust setup. But before doing all this get a boostguage, to be sure the turbo isnt done for.

well we changed a fuel line cause the rubber was bad and it was spraying fuel everywhere, next we have to change the master cylinder resevoir seal for the cluth and then the diff mount. The car is blowing white smoke, is this a really bad thing??? The car already has a 3" downpipe with the stock exhaust.

Thanks for everyones help,
Rob

FULL tuneup, then fuel mods, then exhaust, intake, etc. Start with tuneup and fuel.
