First Drift.....Finally!!!
It rained over here in San Jose finally, and it being a friday night me and my friend with his 86 corolla decided to go over to the high school parking lot at practice driving/drifting.
I have gone and tried drifting a few times in parking lots when it was wet but to no avail. (all atempted drifts turned into power slides or 180's)
But this night after trying and practicing for about 1 to 1.5 hours I finally completed one. By the end of the night I did it a total of three *real* drifts, and about 75+ power slides. Not to good i guess but i am getting the hang of it.

good job! yes im suprised to hear someone who actually knows what a REAL drift is... but being sideways before the corner is not the only thing you must conceive of when practicing. if you have spare rims around try taking the optimal line (outside to inside to outside) its very difficult but dont be afraid and just get as close to the corner as possible w/o touching it and you will get the koolest feeling after completeing your first really real drift!
