Turn on key and you can hear fuel pump. Motor fries right up and at idle runs about 30 seconds. If you peddle the gas it will rev up but only stay running about 10 seconds. (assuming it burning what fuel it has quicker) Changed fuel filter, pump, pressure regulater, boost sensor, main relay, solenoid resistor, thanks to a doner car...any suggestions

Um I had that problem also. I'm not sure what it was because there was alot of thing wrong but. I can tell you that I was getting to much fuel to the engine. So what I did was put in a switch for the fuel pump.

After it stalls out, do you need to unflood it to start it again?

How well does it run during those 30 seconds?

Have you checked for any HUGE vacuum leaks (ie. cracked air intake tube)?

disconnected AFM will allow the engine to run for only about 3 seconds than die.

Maybe a bad AFM though?

And the winner is... (besides me with a running engine) GO48 Loose connection on AFM. Thanks a bunch, if you make it to DGRR I'll buy you a drink!

Good to hear you found the problem. I'd like to make DGRR, but I can't decide whether to drive my RX-8 or trailer my RX-7.

Seriously though, I appreciate the offer but I doubt that I will make the trip. My car focus right now is track events and most of my energies, and $$$, are devoted to preparing for and attending events. Only so much time and money available for an old retired guy, so I gotta choose. But you never know.
