actually we painted it black with rattle can before we commenced any real surface work on it and it looked okay and showed us where the work needed to be done......so we finished that up and when we put the pva on to make the mold it had a really high gloss and i really impressed myself.....i cant wait to see it painted either....guy from the forum in louisiana is having it painted......
great....loool....i cant wait to get rid of this thing......ive been working on this thing for two months......i cant wait to get it in a box and on the truck lool.....u work on something soo much and consumes so much of your energy its a relief getting rid of it......i drove it around today and my temp gauge was a bit lower than usual.....and Jody dont get pissed lool......i had to put it on and drive....how could u not put that thing on ur car.....and the duct tape worked just fine 
(who needs hood pins anyway?)...and its ironic that we made this thing when last night astrochild and i were driving to the local po dunk town (sorry jody) to pick up his check and i have his t2 hood on my car.....and the scoop wasnt bolted in and hasnt been for at least a few weeks now.....so all was thought to be safe....it was snug you know......then bam all of the sudden the thing flew off of the car......it didnt fly back into the window..the sumbich flew UP....then back.....so if anyone wants to think there is no positive pressure under that hood ur nuts.....unbolt ur scoop for yer t2 and ull see for yourself lool.....now i no longer have an excuse to make a hood for me first....damn

new news about the hood.
