Dltreezan, you are about to inspire me to mold my bumper and start selling them. There really is a market for this stuff.

yeah i wanna make it for around 400...and it would be a hell of alot easier than my hood....thats if i decide its worth wasting my time to make anything more.....so integra....i now pas the torch to you....something someone once said......

My advice would be to make what you personally like for your own car. If anyone sees it and has interest in it they'll contact you and then just deal with them on a one at a time basis. You'll save yourself a lot of time and effort.
....lesson learned......and actually it was you who inspired me in the first place...yes i want to make a full on kit based on that bumper......and if its worth my time and someone has some money up front ill think about making some copies....

Dltreezan are you still planning to make a mold of the hood with the scoop for the intake (not on the headlight)? Is there any way you could incorporate that into the current mold you have?

By the way if you have started producing these hoods how many have you made or will you make for your first run? Also did you come with an official weight on the hood yet just curious.

Again congratulations and much respect on making such a great hood. I'll PM you when I can come up with the money.

no i started thinkin gabout and in that area you have the most positive pressure so im not sure how much air would be getting into it.....and my business partner took of for 9 days to Texas so i had to come back home..and time being money now i have to get a job....if i had enough orders with dough up front then yes i wouldnt have any worries but priorities are priorites and we have some money up front but not enough to keep me floating especially when ur splitting the money in half and living away from home.....as far as weight goes i have no idea because this prototype is different and heiveir than any other that we will make..so it weighs slightly less than the auminum and whatever we decided to make will weigh less than less....so keep that in mind

Someone,Icemark I think, has a flow diagram of the car so search for that and it should help you out with the pressure areas.

Our hoods have a kind of bowing shape. I'd figure if the opening was behind the highest part with a good little air ramp thing like your has it should be ok.

yeah i have it on one of my other threads..ive got it around here somewhere....if i could be convinced that air would be going into the scoop id consider doing it on another design.....right now it would cost me too much to make another mold for what it would be worth.....if i had a group of people that were committed to having one that would be fine then second of all if i had a group of people that say they were committed about third would really go thru.....so ill think about doing another one like that down the road after i make a full on kit....but that is al;so down the road considering whats happening so we will have to see...i posted a picture on that front end i wanted to make and i only got a few responses on it..maybe i should post another thread on it
