finally took pics LOL !

stage2 streetport, full racingbeat turbo back, xtd stage 3 clutch set ,rtek1.8/ 4 800cc injectors, koyo radiator ,walbro fuelpump, ksport coilovers ,tsw rims/18's back 17's front,mk1 short shifter......thats all i can think of for now...
and oh yea its a fresh rebuild from akins with 3mm seals, currently just past 1300 miles ...on fresh rebuild and im wondering when is it a safe time to take it to redline lol !currently taking rpm to 5k on motor..thanks guys enjoy the pictures..






i was wondering what that is & where does it go? does anyone know? (picture above)

nice car, I didn't think I liked that body kit until I seen it in black.

bolt that wire to the frame.

quick tip: get a fan shroud as soon as possible. (I learned the hard way)

that should be bolted to the clutch slave, I believe

That wire is a ground. Mounts on the driver side shock tower. You might have to take the coil out to get it back in.

Actually, that wire is a capacitor for the oil sender. It evens out the bumps from the sender and protects the sender in the event of gauge failure (or is it the other way around?). Either way, you attach it to a ground.
As for the fan shroud, it helps the fan pull air through the radiator more efficiently. If you dont have it it can overheat when the car isn't moving.

If the engine was rebuilt properly (meaning everything was spec'd out and nothing had damage or wear in it) it was safe to take it to redline 1299 miles ago...
