Finally got a t2!!
The time is finally here, I've got my t2!!! The car's pretty solid, all stock with a ported wastegate. I'll post up pics when I get home.
So the car came with a boost gauge, and im trying to figure out how to install it. The guy I bought the car off of showed me this wire that comes out the side of the intake and forms a T. Now how do I go about doing this? Do I cut out the T that comes stock and use the T that came with the boost gauge? Or cut before the T for the boost gauge, making 2 t's in the connection?
I got a double a-pillar pod as well but it doesnt seem to have any tabs on it, I'll be searching in the meantime to find if there's any that come to simply install, if you can tell me while im searching that would be great. Thanks.
EDIT: I found a dual pillar pod, but does it come with clips? With the current pod I have it looks like im gonna need to screw it into the plastic, I dont wanna do that because the interior is mint.

lol, I'm blind, and seems like a hell of a steal. I've been pondering whether to buy a T2 or to risk financial suicide and buy a LHD FD (no RHD importing for me).

That would be financial suicide times ten haha. Unless you can find really low mileage, you should be fine. If i'm not mistaken ive seen a few good deals in ontario, in the past few months. Your time will come, I waited 6 months.

Yea 15k-20k is pretty solid for LHD. Just remember.....If you go RHD, remember about all the trippy scenarios. For example, on a 2 lane highway, passing someone and you dont notice someones there because you cant see AND SMACK. Game over.

yeah, no way I'm going RHD, I hate it with a passion, plus their resale value is a lot lower. Way that i see it is the people who can't afford LHD FD's, are buying RHD ones instead now that they're legal. IMHO if you cannot afford a LHD FD you can't afford to own any FD. Period.
