New T2
I just bought a 88 t2. Some probs any help appreciated.
- After cold start up engine surges. High rpm to low rpm. If I drive it before it warms up, stopping at a light is almost a guaranteed stall????
- Can be driving down the highway and the car will just die. Pull over and wait a few minutes then it will start. Only happened twice in three months.
- Sometimes when you get in it and turn the key NOTHING. Only warning lights. I try pressing the clutch firmly then the starter may work. Safety neutral switch???
- Second t2 and clock doesn't work properly in this one as well. It will die then start again later on. Is this fixable or is a new one in order?
-Lastly is there anywhere on the net to get detailed instruction to in stall a BOV
I know she sounds like a dud but is in very good shape and does run quite well other than the above aggrevaters. Thanks

Congrats on the purchase.
The clock probably needs to be resoldered. Mine was doing the same thing, and that's what fixed it. Search for "cold solder" or "idiot cluster".
