if the vents were connected to the engine bay, it could help circulate air faster.

Really? What about clearing out hot air from the brakes to make room for cooler air?

That area is not connected to the brake area. Have a look under your wheel well.

They are 30mm wider than the stock fenders, the stock wheelwell cover doesn't go out that far. In theory these are for track cars with no wheelwell cover.

Personally, I'd go for making air outtakes for the engine bay, and fiberglass your wheel well covers to fill in the void. Your car already has an air "scoop" for the brakes from the factory, and I don't think that the air has all that much trouble getting out of the wheel well once its in there. More airflow in engine bay = good things.

the vents are just for looks i think.the reason i brought them is because there wider, witch means i can run wider rims/tyers up front.
has anyone seen these fenders before?

They don't have to be, though Bust out your creative self and make some ductwork to get heat out of the bay.

where did you get them? looks interesting and something I might get. 30mm in the front is more than I'm looking for tho. Do they have a 20mm? I'll probably cut the sheetmetal to vent hot air from the engine too.

This is what it looks like behind your fenders. With 20mm fenders, you can fit 245s in front.

I think mine are M-Sport 20mm fenders. They only have one vent. Take care when installing them. They most likely will take a bit to put on; I worked them from the center of the fender to the top and bottom rather than trying to pull on them. I tightened the bolts a little at a time in a pattern to minimize the cracking of the gel coat.

haha if you look at the pic you can see a drain tube, so those vents can be used to remove heavy rain water from you car faster!!! lightweight cars own jooo (haha jk) hmm i like my stock fenders personally ... i would only buy ones that are lighter while keeping the same body lines.

Thanks. The car still needs paint as you can see from the front. Here are a couple more shots.

no sure how much lighter the fiber glass fenders are than stock. Can't be much because the stockers dont weight anything on their own.

I did it to fit the wider tires. I think they are about the same weight. I would look some place else for saving weight.
