Fender Removal

I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge of removing drivers side fenders and if there are any bolts other than those located on the Top and bottom. Ive noticed 2 bolts behind the head light assembly but would really like to get the fender off without taking off the Bumper/Headlight. Any help would be greatly appreciated as i need to replace my dented fenders

Thanks ahead of time
Tyler

Yup gotta take the bumper off and to get that off you have to take the finder well out and there are three studs up in the front that you have to get to threw the wheel whell, on both side. Along with the other bolts on the top and bottom of the bumper.

There is also a bolt that you can only reach with your door open. Its towards the top.

I replaced my driver's side fender without taking the bumper off. If you have a really long extension, you can reach in the wheel well and undo the fasteners on the back of the front fender lip.

... And how did you remove the bolts on the front of the car, under the bumper and completely unaccessable?

I'll be honest, I don't remember. I think I was able to loosen it up and contort my arm enough to take the bolts on the front out, and put the new fender on with only the bolts in the back. Maybe not the best way, but the fender is on tehre and isn't going anywhere. Been like that for over six months now.

I removed the fender with no bumper removal. Remove top &bottom bolts*remove bolt behind window post by opening door*remove alignment nut with long extention by bending back liner at rear of wheelwell*remove 3 nuts from bumper studs same wayas align. nut, but go thru front of wheelwell instead of back--remove the nasty nuts on front of fender with a 10mm open end wrench working thru headlight cavity(yes, remove Mr. headlight) and underside of bumber. Headlight removal is quick after battery tray is removed. )Actuation arm of headlight motor just pops off with a pry from a large screwdriver.) Gently pry bumper forward to remove fender. Blasting everything with WD-40 helps bigtime.
