FD REW engine in an FC

I'm putting in an FD motor in my FC.

I would like to see how some of you guys built mounts to do this before i go ahead and make mine.

Anyone care to share?

Hey I'm putting a rew into my FC I got the center Iron drilled and will use a 13BT oil pan and front cover. Im going to get pics Im still polishing my UIM and LIM and front cover.

drill and tap the center iron 13b-re style, then use the -re into FC motor mounts

^ cromoly steel motor mounts strong expensive material. You shouldn't have to worry about them.

I don't like the design not the material.

I don't want to drill out the center plate.
I want to mount it using the rear plate like mazda did for the FD.

I'll post pics when i finish mine.. I'm going to make a cradle directly underneath the motor and mount it using the factory holes.

I wanted to see if some of you guys made your own...

mounts

I got a set of adams mounts and blasted them when I got them to look at the welds and I think they should be plenty strong as long as no one is using solid motor mounts. I am expecting to put out 400 ish to the wheels and should not have a problem.

I'm going to be making alot more HP then that and i want something that's going to be plenty strong... I think adam's mounts are nice for most people but my car will require something a bit stronger.

There's no need trying to convince me to use them as i've already decided against them.
