FD manifolds on FC
FD manifolds on FC
Anyone running FD LIM and UIM on an FC: what throttle cable did you use? I'm using an FD cable, and throttle blades will only open to about 50% at WOT. If I adjust the cable so that it can open to 100%, the blades are propped open at idle
the LIM isn't even near close to be able to bolt up nor are the ports remotely the same size, the UIM can fit with the adapters that are floating around.
most who use the FD UIM also use the FD throttle cable, since it's shorter and more appropriate. you could probably make a bracket though, but replacing the cable is about the same amount of work and less janky. i made my own bracket for the n/a cable because honestly i hate the stock TII cable(on a TII UIM/throttle body with cams flipped around).
a slightly less intrusive temporary fix would be to clamp a lead fishing weight under the cable end at the pedal to take up some of that slack. i haven't tried such a thing but i don't see why it wouldn't work.

Cable is adjusted so there is almost no slack. At idle, throttle blades are all the way closed. At WOT, the blades only open about half way. It's almost like there's not enough travel in the FC pedal to open the throttle blades all the way.

I have both UIM and LIM in my car, along with the FD cable. The issue I'm running into is as follows:
Cable is adjusted so there is almost no slack. At idle, throttle blades are all the way closed. At WOT, the blades only open about half way. It's almost like there's not enough travel in the FC pedal to open the throttle blades all the way.
