Question What to do with throttle cable in an FC?

So, did you guys just leave your cable alone and route it all over the place, cut it and refit it, or replace it with a shorter one?

I wast thinking of replacing it with an FD or 1st gen throttle cable....

It sounds similar to the problem you run into when you put an FD upper intake manifold on an FC. I re-routed my cable behind the motor and then around to the front of the motor. Some people use an FD throttle cable. Either method works fine as long as it's secure.

Doesn't Jegs or Summit sell a cable kit that you can cut to length?

What also works and looks trick is to use "Flak Jacket" cable housing and cable. The housing is a carbon fiber weave. You can cut it to any length and route it any way you want. It is available at better bicycle stores or online.

I just used a gxl cable it is just what is needed,
you have to bend the rod on the inside to make it pull
a little further but other than that its perfect.
