FD manifold on FC Q's

After seeing Blue TII's writeup on the FD3S manifold to FC turbo conversion, i would also like to install an FD manifold and throttle body on my 89 T2.

I already have FMIC, engine management, turbo upgrade, exhaust, etc....

Does anyone know how much extra flow the FD manifold/TB has over the Turbo FC manifold/TB? Im not concerned with making the installation work so much as i want to get an idea of what kind of improvements i can expect.

I know that Soul and Blue TII have worked on this, so if they happen to see this post please give some info! Thanks

Graham

Where's the link to the write-up?&nbsp We just did it on a friend's car, and it was a royal pain in the ***.&nbsp The front brackets need to be cut, as they interfere with the secondary fuel rail.&nbsp As the link states, the TB side interferes with the stock oil filler neck.&nbsp yes, you can bolt it on with a filing of the holes on the UIM, but the ports are significantly off.&nbsp I'd like to see back-toback dyno runs of this mod, as it's not worth it in my book.

Yes, if you could find the link to the project, that would be great. I wanted to know any hang ups on doing this mod. I also want to know if its even worth all that trouble! Seems like the maifold and TB are better designs on the FD, hence my interest in the upgrade.
Thanks for your response ted, help with that link if you can!

The only thing I can offer right now is that the FD TB uses larger bores in the secondaries.

Would NA's have any advantage to this?

If the turbo engine sees little power advantage, I doubt an N/A would see ANY.
