well, if i can find FD for same price range with FC, i will jump on it. but till then.....

no. FD intake is not just a bolt on...
stud bolts and 4 intake ports are placed slightly different between FD and FC.
u will need an adaptor plate just like the one on the bottom of the picture to match the ports and studs to put the FD intake on FC.

yep far from a bolt on, need a lot of custom fab stuff plus there is no way in hell to do it with a mechanical o.m.p. you would have to install the electric one or run premix.

Ok my OMP is already gone as well as most of my emissions crap. I'm going to be going to a standalone in the near future and I figured might as well swap the intake at the same time...

Who sells that adaptor plate? I like what my eyes are seeing..

Oil Metering Pump

Why can't you run this setup with a Mechanical Oil Metering Pump?

What is the advantage of using an FD intake? I might be interested as well since I am running a Wolf 3D and soon to be going with a big turbo. I also have my OMP blocked off and am running premix already.

bigger t.b. and runners, the reason you cannot run the mechanical omp it sthe fd t.b. does noth ave the linkage for that prehistoric set up. it is a good 20-25 hp mod or thats what i got out of it after i put it on and retuned it.

Nope, he's big turbo all the way. He has 550 rwhp and unless you are running a LeMans three rotor I don't know how you are getting that out of a N/A.

No it doesnt bolt right on. The rear housing on 3rd gens are different than t2s. You will have to make an adapter plate to make it fit. I've been researching this too. I wanna do it to my 10th anni. I know of a guy in miami that has sucessfully done it so I know it can be done.

just use the upper manifold.
you will need to elongate the holes on the fd manifold for it to line up with the lower manifold. i'll post some pics tonight to show you what i mean. very nice mod for 200 bucks. the guy who Spawn is talking about told me how to do it. you can see it at www.japtrix.com. you can also do a little port matching of the lower manifold if you want to. later.

parts list

upper manifold
throttle body
throttle body elbow(hard to get)
throttle cable

Is the adapter plate in the picture above a one off design or is it sold somewhere? If it's sold where can one be bought and for how much?
