FD Fuel pump

I have a real quick and simple question. I bough a Denso FD fuel pump and it wont work on my Swap I'm using a N/A S4 wiring harness. Every once and a while when I hook the pump up via wires to the battery it jumps than it stops working again. Is the pump bad or is there something that I need to do for running a FD pump on the NA harness thanks driving without boost is killin me!!!

There is nothing special about running any pump on any harness, all it needs is a (+) and a (-). The n/a pump interchanges w/ the tii pump and the tii interchanges w/ the fd. So if its not working, there is a wiring problem.

If the pump works intermittently with power applied, it's bad or a connection is loose. An FD fuel pump is 100% drop-in.

I'm running one also, drop in swap. Was your N/A pump working correctly? Stating the obvious here, but if the N/A pump was working and nothing else changed but the FD pump...then it's the pump.

yeah those are classic signs of a wiring problem. I ran an FD pump on an FC for years.
