FD Caliper Question???

I was searching for a way to improve the performance of my rear brakes and I came across the FD four piston rear calipers. Is this a bolt on for the FC? If not what kind of mods need to be done?

They're still single piston... Just a big one... If you're looking for something larger/more braking surface:

First one on the page.

Real question is, why would you need to improve the performance of the rears? The fronts do the lion's share of the braking. Even in sustained road course lapping I find the rears (vented/5 lug) don't heat up a lot. Even if you've done a big brake kit on the front, I have a hard time seeing why the rears would need any attention, unless it's just about style.

FD is single piston rears.

And they use the same pads as our vented rear rotor cars.

Stock FD and FC pads are the same front and rear (again for 4pot front and vented rear 2nd gen cars)

They do have larger diameter rotors.

Ive glazed, fried, cooked fronts a lot and never had a problem with rears.
