FCs with back seats...

Ok, so (if and) when I get an FC, I'm thinking of putting a backseat into it... not that I think it would be a decent place for passengers to ride, but I figured it could be better than nothing in a pinch.

So I'll just get to the point and ask...

...do you think it could carry one person somewhat comfortably (with their legs to the side or something)? And maybe two, if they are packed like illegal immigrants in a cargo van?

...but most importantly... Could I fit a Japanese chick back there well?

(no reason )

might as well get FCs with backseats already...

i say the FC backseats are like the 240 back seats, not the most comfortable place in the world, but certainly better than supra mk4 backseats...

I am a little over 6 foot tall, and someone can sit behind me (neither one of us that comfortable), but it works. But if you are shorter, it will work better.

i think that opening the bins and setting in there would be just as comfortable if you as me (someone who's 6ft 3in)

and whats the deal w/ the floormats BEHIND the seats in a non 2+2?

Better than FD backseats? They're the only ones I've seen in person, and DAMN they were small.

Then again, I thought the RX-8 backseats looked tiny too (and I'm only 5'11"), and it's a four-door...

back seats on a 7=pointless but in an rx8 you and 3 of your buds can ride arround relitivly comfortably. and i know my mom has a rx8 and i drive it often w/ no complaints from the other passangers

Well, I consider the 7's backseats like an extended cab truck... sucks for whoevers in the back, but still better than nothing...

I use mine far more than I would like to... its not very comfortable for 4, workable for 3, but really preferable for two. Installing the seats takes no time. I think the 2 seater looks cooler but, I really use my seats way too much to get rid of them.

One of my friends just took out the back support part of the seats, so you could lean back. I guess that made it more bearable.

whats the deal with the back of the seats sitting like 90 degress upwards? i figure if some1 went thro the trouble of modifying them to recline those bad boys they'd be more usable, I duno my FC (imported from JPN) has their backrests sitting 90 degrees upwards i duno how it is on your US spec FC's

an rx7 is a sports car...back seats dont belong, ive had the unfortune of having to "sit" in my friends rx's back seats, im 5'6...and it was not a fun thing, i would have rather laid down in back of the hatch and put a blanket over myself(as to hide from cops) a back seat in an RX7 is like scooting the bench seat in a single cab truck and making somebody sit back there.

I dont know why they had floor mats in the back seat...its not like you could EVER put your feet there.

I could even sit up without having my head hit the clieling...well not my head..my neck bent 45 degrees sideways, and still hitting.

If you couldnt tell, im leaning twords; no back seats... no problem
