fcd question
hey guys, I just bought an fcd but I'm not sure if it will work
my rx is an 87, the fcd came off an 89
the #on the unit is 19522 3c(89/4) will it work????????

Listen, arsehole, nobody here is getting paid to answer your questions. I saw that you were a newbie, so I answered your question out of the kindness of my heart. If you had bothered to get off your *** and do a search, you could have easily found the answer to your question in about 5 minutes of actual research. I THINK it will toast your ECU. The series four has four wires, 12v, 5v ref, signal out, and a ground wire. The series five has but three wires, neither of which is 12v.
I don't know for sure which burns the ECU up. Using a series four on a series five or vice versa. Don't plan to find out. No matter which. You can't swap series and expect it to work. It won't.
