Probably not. Its clamp voltage is probably higher than the ECU cut voltage.

HEY!

Listen, arsehole, nobody here is getting paid to answer your questions. I saw that you were a newbie, so I answered your question out of the kindness of my heart. If you had bothered to get off your *** and do a search, you could have easily found the answer to your question in about 5 minutes of actual research. My answer was completely satisfactory, and gave you all of the information you would need to decide whether you wanted to go ahead and try it.

Uhh, what the **** was that? He said thanks for the responses, and you get pissed off? Did you think he was being a smart *** or something? I think you need to go change your tampon, if you'll notice he mentioned guys in reference to the forum, and he was thanking YOU (by stating you as a part OF the forum) What the hell is with getting pissy about that? Jesus christ, take some Haldol and get ahold of yourself

I THINK it will toast your ECU. The series four has four wires, 12v, 5v ref, signal out, and a ground wire. The series five has but three wires, neither of which is 12v.

I don't know for sure which burns the ECU up. Using a series four on a series five or vice versa. Don't plan to find out. No matter which. You can't swap series and expect it to work. It won't.
