I don't want to argue but what someone else has experienced doesn't neccesarily mean you will have the same thing happen. Rotary engines may die soon if you never change the oil or if you beat on it a lot. So if some guy is like my FarKinG engine only lasted 4k miles because I only put one quart of oil in it and ran it at 8k rpms all day long that means nothing to you since you are probably a responsable guy that won't do that.
Aslong as they build it the properway and don't cut corners the engine should last as long as any other builder's engine. Starting the car for the first time also is a widely varying thing. Some guys will claim they had it idling just about perfect in 15 minutes while others needed half the day to tow start it three times after it dies while idling at 1500 rpms.

Santiago

I did buy the dual alt pully for my FC alt from them though I received it in the mail fast.

I have never bought an engine from there, but I know Dave(site owner) is a great guy, and if something does happen, he will do his best to make it right. He compression checks all of the motors before they ship out anyways. All in all, I have never had anything other than great experiences with dealing with Dave.

Dave and craig over at fc3s.org have been dealing with 7's for years and they always take care of their customers, I would go for it.

The used J-spec can be bought from other places for cheaper. I am pretty sure that all the j-spec are the same, so it really doesnt matter where you get them.

I think with a used engine, it matters th emost where you get it from. Daves engines have to pass the compression test before theyre sold, or the short block is rebuilt, and the accessories are parted out.

The place has a lot to do with it, find out the reputation of every place you check. I wish I did long ago when I got my block.
