FC3 Exhaust Help

I have a 1989 Rx7 N/A and I want a good sounding exhaust. Right now my exhaust is straight piped due to an exhaust leak and it sounds very high pitch at higher revs. I've seen the Racing Beat $1,200 exhaust system, but I really don't want to spend that much. I just want to get something that sounds deeper from what I have now. Not looking to spend over $100. By the way, I'm trying to keep the dual exhaust. Thank you.

Don't think you can get anything for less that 100...

Well its just like what you already said, a racing beat exhaust is 1200. That's a good quality exhaust. You could always get two mufflers and what not, then take your car to a muffler shop and get them to custom fab you an exhaust. Just you'll still be getting a decent bill

What would be two good mufflers to get? When I had my civic, I bought a DC Sports muffler and installed it, still keeping my resonator. I had a good sound, not too loud or not too high pitch.

Not sure dude. I'm just saying you won't find a single thing for under that. Maybe used, beat, and rusty... IF you're lucky enough to find one.

Cheapest is ebay no doubt.

For the love of God, please don't buy one of those cheap knock-off's off ebay. Just spend the money and get a quality exhaust that will last

Lol well I'm not talking about the whole exhaust system. Maybe just the mufflers. Well not technically lower than $100 but something decent that's not too costy.

Even without a cat, a Racing Beat catback is well worth its pricetag. I have a straight-through resonator coupled with a RB TII Power Pulse catback and it PURRS. Nice and quiet, not obnoxious, but nicely pronounced when you put the fun pedal down.

If you can get a midpipe for cheap in the classifieds, grab the RB catback. You'll be very happy with the results.

And yes, it can handle belching flames with no problem

Yes.

The large "Non turbo" graphic on the picture is the tipoff.

quite a bit of a jump from less than $100 but a poor choice of exhaust makes the car 100% annoying to you and the rest of the world, chicks do not dig that **** either

Whereas the subtle stainless glint of the RB system is a guaranteed panty dropper.

I hope it wasn't the "guaranteed panty dropper" part that convinced you because honestly, that might have been a smidge exaggerated.
