i swapped out my n/a motor for another n/a. i removed rats nest, 5 and 6 ports gone ( welded shut) no smog pump and basically it coes down to a bare motor with p/s and alternator. when i start the car it'll idle high and as soon as it getst to normal driving temp, it'll idle at 500rpms or dies. im tired of breaking and pressing the gas with my righ tfoot. any ideas? thanks for any input.

Look for the screw near the air filter box. This screw is on a little platform and has a L and an R on it. Mine would not idle after a swap and found out the idle air / fuel mixture was off. I richened it up a bit and wammo: nice steady idle.

Try that and report back.

yea ever since i ditched my rats nest my car wont start ...or idle when i hard start it ....? but im an S4 not 5 so would it be the same?
