fc sweetspot?

i was wondering at what speeds does the fc excel at. for example the supra is a highway powerhouse. at what speeds do the fc seem to run well at. i guess it all depends on what mods you have on your car but i guess in general what does the rotary engine like to do. is it more of a 30-80 mph car or 60- whatever. i dont really think it would be that quick on the lowend considering the low torque but i could be wrong.

my car makes more torque than HP...

mine seem to like 2nd through 4th gear though... haven't really had a chance to run through 5th yet. and the only problem with 1st is that I go through it too fast.

You have a N/A so your powerband will be from 4-6k. If you want something more exact dyno it and see when your power start dropping off.

Yah, for an NA the power is pretty constant around 4000-6000. Atleast in my experience.

5th won't get you anywhere on an n/a, least not with the stock transmission, or heavy modding.

Change out your ring and pinion to 4.3 and you'll go somewhere.

2nd and 3rd will be your most used gears for driving a curvy area, and usually most auto-x events.

to answer your question, FCs are top end vehicles also... most competition that will hang with an N/A fc from 0-60 will get walked on thereafter (which is usually when u switch from 2nd to 3rd).

Love my fifth gear. It just keeps pulling and asks where sixth is.

My S5 with exhaust and 16in rims pulled real well between 2nd and 3rd gear..2nd tkes me close to 65 and 3rd takes me close to 105..and it all happens pretty quickly for a little NA...so yeh i guess its a good top end car...lightweight
