FC oil cooler: Direction of flow?

Hi,A friend of mine gave me an FC oil cooler that I am trying to install on my NA8 Miata ('97). I already have the sandwich plates, crimped lines, etc, but I'm stuck on which banjo bolt hole is the inlet and which is the outlet. I understand that there is an integrated thermostat, but I'm not sure if there is a flow direction and ideally I'd like to set it up in the same flow direction as factory. Attached are pictures of the cooler in question, as well as pictures of the thermostat that I can see through the holes. They are labeled A and B accordingly and would really appreciate if some of you could to identify A or B with inlet and outlet.

Thank you for your time,
Brandon

The FSM shows the inlet as A and outlet as B
