1990 GXL isn't getting gas?

1990 GXL isn't getting gas?
My S5 NA acts like the EGI fuse is pulled when trying to start, but if I take the fuse out, crank it a few times, put it back in then it starts?!

After it doesn't start have you checked your plugs to see if they are wet or smell like gas?
