fc and fd tps

I have a 1990 turbo rx7 and wondering if i can use the fd tps on the fc 1990 turbo rx7, im asking this because i want to get the feed tb exchange kit with the fd intake and the fd tb. This would just make things alot easier for me..

Thanks

yes, you can use the FD tps on an 89-91 turboII ecu. Just wire it up matching all the correct color wires (FC and FD are the same color). You still need to calibrate it using the tps checker lamps, but its pretty straight forward.

The FD TPS has narrow-range and full-range sensors built into one unit.

Yup. Hence, why its only a direct swap with the dual plunger TPS of the S5. The ranges on the s5 FC TPS and FD TPS are the same.

That'd be like replacing the pressure sensor with a temp sensor. Completely wrong sensor for the job.

***Airpump supercharger? Have anyone did something like that already???***

Sorry, but you seem to be misinformed. It's dual airpump supercharger. As in plural. The single airpump's pulses interfer with the rotary action of the apex seals too much and causes detonation. The dual airpump superchargers cancel out each others pulses. Good for approx 70-83 hp increase over stock. And remember *Never Lubricate Your Airpump* It'll overspeed and its belt will slip. And in the future, please post in the AIRPUMP section of this site, not the 2nd Gen section.
