FC cold smoke

Well, i got my first ticket today. For not having the date of purchase on the title .

the guy i bought the car from didnt date it, so i gotta go to court.

Anyways, I've had the problem of it smoking but as I've noticed it only smokes badly at startup, and it virtually goes away as soon as the car warms up.

At first i thought it was coolant, then maybe oil/fuel mixture, but im beginning to think its fuel. I've looked threw the forum and only one i found searching was a first gen cold smoke problem with a 12A, seeing how mine is a 13B i decided to ask for advice before i start pulling injectors and what not.

Any quick check suggestions?

It is pretty normal for FCs to smoke on cold start up a little, especially after sitting.

However if it is excessive it is probably due to bad oil control rings.

My car has this problem so I use this combo when I change my oil: 4 quarts Valvoline VR50 racing oil and 2 bottles STP oil treatment. It never smokes with this in it.

im more of a 'fix it not mend it' person. i'd rather it smoke then add 'magic' mixes to the oil.

and like i said, its def not oil, i think its fuel.
