Man this is going to be great, finally some none crappy-80's style body kits that are affordable. It would be cool if you made some replica kits like the RE Amemiya front, Knightsports, Border, all those awesome Japanese tuner companies. Original body kits will be great too. Definately make some Carbon Fiber hoods, these cars have needed them for 16 years......

How about a TII like hood? carbon fiber for light weight,
raise the scoop an inch or so and reduce the turbulance the TII hood creates for the scoop. Needs hood pins of course, just to look sweet. Hope you like my Idea

any idea if there might be a discount in order for someone who can garuntee that the kit will go on a car w/a sick custom paint kob, and possibly the name of the manufacturer somewhere conspicuous? I can drem up anything that rotaryextreme might want.

 

if this doesnt go down soon, i'm really tempted to get the bomex kit (gasp!!!) but i really want something original, and the gt-c is that. Im gonna throw a fit at the body shop where i work if I have to buy a kit that someone else in my area already has!

ehhhh.......its ok. it has really big gaps and seems like the fronts i see on acuras and civics. but if it floats ur boats.

 

when is there going to be another group buy for the bumpers... or anything for that matter. it look sweet I'd like a full kit if the rest of it has the same feel..

I agree with dra gon lee, SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE A COPY OF THE RE FC2000 KIT for us poor state side FC owners that can afford to pay an arm and a leg to import it from Japan!!!

 

Ummm... Guys? This thread has LONG since been dead. The kit manufacturing never went through. Nothing ever came of it all. Except those group buys, but I don't think those even had enough people buying in and they fell through too.. There are no custom kits being made... it's all long dead..... Look at the post dates... the last time FC3S.ORG posted in this thread was pre-Christmas! sorry boys.

Good news... the kits are being made, there was just a set back in the production... I sent an e-mail to them and here's the reply.

You got the wrong info. The first bumper was made wrong and right now we are

I wish i had seen this thread a few months ago!! I just signed up over here and am a frequent member over at www.gmpowertalk.com b/c i've got a gulp...grand am gt. However, i do love 7's and always have! I will get one in a few years money permitting. Alright, AED, the company that was SUPPOSED to make you guys body kits(yeah right) is a joke! They have been working with ga's for a while designing a body kit and lights that we have yet to see! Keep in mind, i joined that board in july, 2001 and people were expecting the euro tailights from them to be out then! It is now april and we are all still waiting for them. They have shown us a sketch and look like a copy of the hot wheels ga of last year. Plus, they have been saying they will get projector headlights for us too...leo and susanna keep giving us ideas and dates and not coming through! That's why i felt so bad for you guys/girls. B/c at first, i was like oh ****...i know he's not trying to get AED to build anything for the 7..but it was true Also, we have ONE body kit for the 96-98's and the same one fitted to the 99+ style ga's. This kit is made out of fiberglass and costs $1,850 with the $300 discount! WE thought we were being overcharged, until i found this site! $5,000 kits?? Some of your cars are only worth that much(no offense). Co's are crazy sometimes. But anyway, AED was a lost cause from the beginning..they keep delaying everything on my site too...saying they will have a body kit for the grand prix(same exact design..lol), one for the alero, ram air hoods(fiiiiinally done..almost.lol) They take forever to ship their stuff too, so it's best you did not get anything from them. I believe they have overextended themselves!!!--especially in promises and talking to people. YOu might want to check out www.sharkracing.com for a body kit and other stuff. THey make stuff for hyundai's, kia's, and daewoo's...NO JOKE! Why don't you try to get wings west to design something..they have decent prices. Good luck!
