Where do I buy one of these? Auto parts store said they dint carry generic ones and dint have any in stock for any other car. Do I need generic ones or is there a specific one I should buy from some weird car? Anyone? I want to finish my electric fan installation tomorrow. THanks!!!

Wheres the best place to insert the temp. "probe" into the radiator? Somewhere in the middle? Off to the side?

I got one that opens at 190* and closes @ 183*. If you go with the radiator make sure it's at the top where the hose comes in.

I have an adjustable one. Thanks for the offer tho

So I should stick it in below the top radiator hose? Right now I have it between the top and lower hose. I havent tested it out cuz it was late and I was tired. I'll move it up tomorrow and see how it does.

Like fastrotaries says on the metal fins near the upper hose nipple. That gives you the best sudden high load lead time.
(Mine is still in the box as long as the fan clutch lasts.)

Would a good place to install the temp sensor be on the neck coming up from the water pump? Would it be ok to install it before (water pump side of) the stock thermostat? Also, what does one of these thermoswitches usually cost? Thanks,
Chris
