Talking N/A Questions

Ok I would like to know all the mods i can do to my N/A to get the best Hp figures. I dont want to do NOS at the moment or boosting. I want to get as much Hp as i can before either of these options. I am planning on getting true duals, Cone air filter, Custom intake for the filter, Intake porting, and removeing all external devices except alt. I would like to know how much approx how much it is going to cost for a large streetport. Also what should i do as far as fuel mods? Thanks.

I assume you know that in order to port your engine, it needs to be torn apart, and rebuilt. Id say $1500 for that , assuming you can do the build yourself, or have someone do it for you cheaply. True duals are good, but a streetable header into a silencer and a single-sided cat-back can be much less expensive, and also save you some weight. Port you IM, pineapple aux port sleeves, CAI, SAFC.....that should keep you busy for a while Also do a search , there is tons of info, as this has been discussed alot. Try searching for "beefy N/A", as I believe that was the title of a pretty good thread.

Fuel mods are unneccesarry for an N/a unless you get a friggin big port job.The only thing I would recomend for the fuel is the S-AFC. You answered the first question yourself about the mods.I have the duals and I am currently cleaning my auxilary port sleeves. I believe with all the bolt ons and removal of the accesories and fan you could get to 180rwhp. With the porting it would be closer to 200rwhp. Oh wait you forgot one mod buy the pineapple racing sleeves. total cost for just the bolt ons would be less than 2k dollars. Probably1600. With the porting it would go up considerably depending on whether or not your engine blew or not and how the condition of your internals are.

Large streetport
Holley Carb
RB Race Header
Straight through exhaust
no catalytic convertors
Underdrive pulleys
Pineapple Racing sleeves(can be custom made)
removed 5th/6th port actuators
SAFC
Jacobs Rotary ignition pack

You will more than likely need to upgrade other things to handle all of the power, ie clutch, drivetrain, cooling system.

Fuel will be good up till 250HP. Dont waste your time ugrading that.
