Factory Side Decal Placement

I just had my car painted and I need to re-apply the side decals on the fenders.

The car in question is an 1989 GTUs.

Vertical placement: How high should the decal be? (when measured from the top of the side molding to the bottom of the decal.)

Horizontal placement: Any help here would be appreciated. Is it centered between the door side and the wheel opening?

Thanks!

I'm curious where you got your decals from. The ones mazdatrix sells are only white, and since my car is white, its not going to show up.

I'd call the dealership to see if they have any Red decals in the parts system. Since there were so few white GTUs cars made, I think you're going to have a difficult time finding a set.

The decals from Mazdatrix were $24 each. Use that as a price guide and see if any local decal shop can make them for you...
