factory rebuild question
factory rebuild question
my engine went so now im looking for a rebuild or replacement. I found a used one from a junkyard that was supposedly factory rebuilt three years ago. they say they know this from a "stamp" on it. is a factory rebuild any better than a normal one, and should it still be decent after 3 years (assuming it was taken care of reasonably)?
price on it is 1500 shipped with a 90 day warenty, let me know if im about to waste my money

I agree. Even if it's been factory rebuilt, you have no way to know WHEN it was rebuilt. And if it's been so well taken care of, why is it in the junkyard?
Treat it just like any other junkyard engine.
