keep in mind these are HARD 200 miles, but damn a quart???

what do you think is the cause, there is no visible oil leaks around the engine.

Its either going through the engine or leaking somewhere. Does it leave a puddle anywhere? Smoke? What kind of oil are you using? Try 20w50.

Last oil change I burned a quart at 1700 miles under very hard driving. I use 20W50 castrol GTX. 200 is definitely not normal

there is no visible leaks...a couple hours at the drag strip last night burned over half a quart...could the apex seals be worn and not scrape the oil back into the pan?
