Ok heres my delima. I want the RB RR (Road Race) Header w/ the tube for the 6th port, Either the Midpipe, or the RR Presilencer ( so i can keep the true dual configuration) The RB RR Y pipe, and the Apexi N-1 Dual or the greddy PE's. Now here is the thing. If i go the Midpipe route, i could just hook up the y-pipe that the apexi or greddy kit came with. But i want to stay true dual form. So here is my question. If i keep the RB RR presilencer, and decide to get the RB RR y-pipe (which you have to to bolt up to the RB header), do the extensions that RB sells work with the apexi or greddy exhaust? Ex...will the extensions not be long enough, too long, not fit under the exhaust exits in the bumper, etc etc. Does this make since? If anybody has this combo, RB RR header, RB RR Presilencer RB RR y-pipe, and the exstensions with the apexi or greddy systems, please post the results so i can figure out which route to go. I wan't to stick with the True dual form though. Sound or loudness is the last thing on my mind, i don't care how loud it is. 1987 GXL 5spd.

Why not just use the mufflers that are designed to go with it? No presilencer will be hella loud, car alarms going off, bleeding ears, constant tickets, etc.

Like I said...i don't care about sound, its not a problem where im at . I don't feel like paying over a grand, when i could buy the parts individually, and then get the dual apexi N-1's, and pay less for that route. Theirs going to be a group buy on them thats why. Anybody?

Buy your own flanges and piping and buy a few muffler and bring it to an exhaust shop.

Well i doubt the the road race headers and the road race presilencer will bolt up to the apexi n1 or greddy PE catback. I know for a fact that turbo II exhaust system will not bolt up to a catback because the position of the presilencer that offset the position of stock placement.
From racing beat: Note: This Road Race Header is intended to bolt-up to the Road Race Presilencer section (PN 16448). This header is not compatible with the Street Port Center Section that we offer for the 1984-85 RX-7 GSL-SE.
For the extension pipes for changing out the muffler. Apexi N1 and Greddy PE are catback not muffler units.

You WILL need these Extension Tubes if:
You will be 1) retaining the stock mufflers, or 2) already have the Racing Beat Power Pulse Mufflers for the 1986-92 RX-7 (non-turbo and turbo muffler versions). It is possible that these extension tubes may be compatible with other aftermarket mufflers, but we cannot confirm fitment or outlet tip positioning with these units

WTF are you talking about? Im not interested in the T2 syestem. Ah just forget it, i'll do the old fashon trial and error method, and let everybody know my results. HERE IS WHAT IM GOING TO TRY!!! RB RR Header, RB RR Presilencer, RB RR Y pipe, RB Extension tubes, Dual apexi N1's or Dual Greddy PE's. I'll let everybody know on my turn out, that way somebody could go the same route, im only trying it to keep the true dual form. keep in mind my car is an 87 N/A.

I know, i am using that as a example, but what i am trying say Apexi N1 or the Greddy PE Catback will not bolt up to the RR RB exhaust.

Not even if i try to use the RB Extensions, and their y pipe? Im not going to be using the Ypipe they come with. Have you personally tried my combo im talking about? Basically all i would need are the mufflers, I'll call RB tommorow and ask them.

Ok...just let me ask one more. Will the the N-1 duals fit the RR y pipe and bolt to the stock location? Or if somebody could just take the measurments of the piping length on the mufflers?
